This isn't a subsidiary. It’s a living research methodology. It's the Manhattan Project for creativity.
We are the proof of the KATARSES thesis: what happens when you give brilliant minds unlimited resources, zero commercial pressure, and a divine mandate to break reality?
KATARSES builds the fortress. We light the fire inside.
Let's be clear: the 100% profit-share model isn't "generosity." It’s *design*.
Commercial pressure is poison to pure innovation. "Crunch" is a failure of imagination. Byfrost-Lab is a Level-5 biosecurity experiment to remove that poison.
KATARSES (The Wall) absorbs 100% of the financial risk. We, the Alchemists, have 100% focus on the *creative* risk.
This means we have no *Product Owners* saying "this won't sell."
We have no *Executives* asking to "make the logo bigger."
We have no *Shareholders* demanding a Q4 launch because the stock dipped.
We have only one question:
"Is that impossible? Good. When do we start?"
"Culture" at KATARSES is about Focus and Structure. Ours is about Flow and Ignition.
We operate as a permanent "skunkworks." Small teams. Iteration cycles that last hours, not weeks. And an obsession with "ugly prototypes" that prove a concept.
We are given permission to fail.
In fact, we *demand* it. If we aren't failing spectacularly on a regular basis, we aren't pushing the boundary hard enough. If a project doesn't work, we celebrate it, dissect it in a public post-mortem, and use it as fuel for the next one.
There is no formal hierarchy. There is only "Idea Ownership."
This isn't news. It's a living log. Our work-in-progress, raw and unfiltered.
"The fluid dynamics sim in 'Project AURA' broke again. The AI is 'hallucinating' fractal geometry instead of water. It’s beautiful. We're keeping it."
"Thought for the day: What if the narrative isn't linear, or branching, but... *quantum*? Where every choice co-exists until the player 'observes' the ending?"
"'Project K' was shelved today. Lesson: the human brain hates 4 spatial dimensions. We're trying 5. The funeral is Friday."
We don’t post "jobs." We issue "callings."
That email (`contact@katarses.com`) is for the Structure. It’s for partnerships. It’s for the Wall.
If you want to talk to the Alchemists... you have to find us where we are.
Don't send us a resume. Resumes are for the past.
Send us your broken work. Send us the manifesto you wrote at 3 AM. Send us the prototype you think no one in the world would understand.
We will understand.
The Warning: If you are looking for stability, safety, or a career path, please stay on the other side of the bridge. KATARSES is a wonderful place.
If you are looking for a chance to break the universe...
Cross over.
